Personal
Most people outside of academia know me as an Ultimate (frisbee) player. I have played competitively at the youth, college, club, international, and pro levels since 2008 with various teams in Colorado, Chicago, and Los Angeles. In 2020, I was among 24 players selected for men’s Team USA. I am a 6-time All-UFA selection and hold the single-season and career records for completion, assists, and throwing yards in the professional league, as well as various franchise records for the Chicago Union. I currently serve as an Elite Athlete representative on the Board of Directors of USA Ultimate, the national governing body of the sport of Ultimate in the United States.
